Geylang Secret Dinner - The Performance Theatre

The Performance Theatre (TPT) invites the world’s most visionary thinkers, influencers and doers to explore ways of listening and engaging to bridge perception gaps.
After a year characterised by a mounting sense of estrangement at the global, national and individual levels, the theme “Invisible Realities” sets the backdrop for TPT 2017.
We organized a tour of the neighbourhood of Geylang to highlight its’ social ecosystems; emphasizing the role of NGOs in the neighbourhood as a force for good. The tour ended with a communal dinner in a public backalley as we interacted with migrant workers representatives and advocates for social issues in Singapore.
20 people participated including C-suite executives, leaders of countries and advocacy efforts. Notably previous president of Mexico- Felipe Calderón was in attendance.
