Back Alley Festival

In the back alleys of Geylang, we brought together the community that consisted of migrant workers from India, Bangladesh and China, along with locals of all ages and stripes. People from different walks of life gathered to celebrate Christmas and shared a common language of food, arts and plants. Our partners from Kerbside Gourmet treated the community to some delicious Christmas staples. While creativity ran free as Artify Studio opened up an art jamming session. Foodscape Collective also set up a booth with stem cuttings, seeds and fruits for the participants to plant, pot and bring home their very own plant! It was a Christmas miracle to be able to spread the joy of Christmas with this diverse community!
